**Meet The Cast**

Carmella Chavez

My name is Carmella Faith Chavez, I’m 19 and I’ve lived here in Laramie my whole life…so far ;). I’m a graduate of the class of 2009 at Laramie High School. Now, I’m a student at LCCC and plan on majoring in Vocal Performance and minoring in Cultural Anthropology. When I was in high school I was fortunate enough to be a part of Wyoming All-State Honor Choir and All Northwest Honor choir as a soprano.  One of my fondest memories are of my mother, sister and brother, when we would all go jam in the basement after dinner. My family has played a giant influence on my music and they have supported me from the beginning. Outside of music, I love spending time in the mountains, having a great conversation with a stranger and enjoying time with my family and friends.

Aaron Heath

My name is Aaron Heath, I’m 16 and I’m a Junior at the Laramie High School.  I started singing with Sunshine Generation at age 3 and then went on to Children’s Choir from there.   I have been in several musicals as well as performing at the Horse Barn.  I  recently  had the privilege to sing in New York at Carnegie Hall.   I come from a family of Cross Country runners  and I just started on the Swim Team this last year.  Most importantly I have my driver’s license!

Dale Hoopes

Hello!  I am Dale Hoopes and I am extremely excited to be working out at the Horse Barn Theatre once again.  I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with some truly incredible people during this process of putting on a show and I cannot wait to continue this work in the future.  In the fall I will resume my education at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs, WY.  I am majoring in Musical Theatre and love every minute of it!  I have loved working with this great group of adult and child actors!  They have so much energy and when stress creeps in to my producing life, they are there to pull me back and make me remember that theatre is my passion!!

Susan Wiersema

My name is Susan Wiersema, I am 17 and just graduated from Laramie High School.  This last year I was lucky enough to play Sarah Brown in the High School Production of Guys and Dolls.  I have also been in several other shows here at the Horse Barn Theatre.  This past April I was able to travel with my choir to New York to sing in Carnegie Hall! Music is a passion in my life, and I am so grateful for the countless opportunities I have been given.  Next year, I am looking forward to studying at the University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in Music Education with a choral emphasis.  All my thanks and love to Mom, Dad, and friends!

Katie Winters

Well Hello There! I’m Katie Winters and I am very excited to be part of this show at the Horsebarn this year! I was in the show “Annie of the West,” four years ago and have loved every minute of this production as well. I have been playing the piano and singing ever since I can remember and I can never get sick of music! I am married to Michael Winters and we will celebrate our 2 year anniversary this August! When I’m not working at Perkins or going to school I’m cleaning up after Bosco, our Boxer-Bulldog puppy who chews up everything! I am the big sister of one of our cast members, Aaron Heath, which makes this cast especially fun for me. I currently have my Associates of General Studies and I am applying to the Dental Hygiene Program at LCCC in Cheyenne, Wyoming in August. If I do not succeed, I will also be applying to the Nursing Program in September. I look forward to a great summer and a successful show! Here's to 100 years of Horse Barn history!
